“I was desperate for guidance with my adolescent son, who was in a downward spiral in every aspect of his life. I was helplessly witnessing him continue down a self-destructive path. Our communication was nonexistent, and we could not find any common ground. I came to the Anthem Strong Families seminar, and having some experience on both sides a seminar, set in for a long day. Suddenly, the seminar was over, and I was both hopeful and energized with the information I came away with. I was anxious to apply it to my relationship with my son, as well as many other relationships. The instructor's presentation was fun, interesting and engaging. And, to my surprise, my son was able to recognize how he could benefit from many of the tools he learned, specifically, P.O.W.E.R., with his anger management. And now, my son is back on track. We both have improved our communication skills with each other, and are better equipped to resolve our differences. He has learned to identify destructive behavior, make better choices, and be more responsible.
